Hi again.
For those who can make it, as mentioned last week, I propose a walk this
Thursday as well as the following Thursday, to accommodate as many people
as possible.
So if you can make it this Thursday 5th September for a walk from Mitcham
Station from 10-10.30 am – please let me know.
It will be repeated the following Thursday 12th September.
In both cases, plan is:
· Meet at Collector’s Coffee House behind Mitcham Station between
10.00 and 10.30 am – Shop 1/1 Colombo Street, Mitcham.
· Leave at 10.30 am and head down Brunswick Road to Cochrane Street
and then head north, over Whitehorse Road and through the suburb to Yarran
Dheran Nature Reserve. Then down to the Mullum Mullum Trail and creek
along to Schwerkolt’s Cottage, further along to the Coach & Horses for
lunch and then up and over to Heatherdale Station to head home.
I don’t think it’s a very long walk. The beginning is a bit boring through
suburb but then it gets nicer along the creek.
The second walk might have some modifications in it.
I hope to see some of you there.
