Good on you Cheesecake.
This is Lakeside Lockdown Liberation run No, 8.
At our New Moon run on Saturday we had more than
10 in the circle and split into two groups, within shouting distance.

Hi guys
This week’s 6.30 run is from Kamesburgh Gardens in North Road Brighton.
Best to park at rear of gardens in Downes Avenue. Meet in rotunda which is
smaller than a garage but bigger than a phone box.
I will order takeaway souvlakies from Gardenvale takeaway about $13 but
will give a specific price on Tuesday. I had an experimental souvlaki this
week and they’re big. There’s a bottle shop in Martin Street Gardenvale,
about one block away from gardens.
As with Whippett’s run a couple of weeks ago, please bring correct change
for dinner.
It won’t rain.
Cheers
Cheesecake
It seemed to work well. We had a pre-arranged check near the fountain
in the Domain where we handed over the trail.
Present were Cheesecake, Back Again, Peanuts, Point Post, GG, Let Me
Look, IME, Ah!Sole, Whippet, Pog and Klingon (+ Dragon)
Five of us stayed for a drink and pizza was delivered to the park.

Thank you to Klingon and Pog for last night's run and for keeping a
watchful eye on the slow runners. 9km for those of us who didn't do checks
and on-backs.

What does a hash run look like when 2 hashers each set a hash then stick them together?
Well, we found out last night. 10 km plus set in 2 different ways set Pog and Klingon.
Good run with lots of checks and on backs keeping the runners together.
Attendance of "approximately" 10.
Sorry I missed the onon.
Thanks for another low key hash run.

Well done Whippett for an excellent run last night. Just the right mix of
dirt-sand-street running to make it interesting and a great take-away
choice, my hamburger was delicious. Good circle too.
Cheers
Cheesecake
Great run.

Good on you Whippet.
It was a great run set by Udder and Peanuts last
week, and good to get back to a normal type of circle.
Those present were, as I recall:
Pog, Chicken Dicken, Cheesecake, Back Again,
Peanuts, Klingon, 4 Pack, Whippet, Point Post,
GG, Mothball, Bollywood, and Botak Chin.

Greetings Lakesiders
Well, we are back - 'up-and-running' so-to-speak. Restrictions are eased -
the Covid-19 risk is very much reduced and manageable as long as we adhere
to social distancing advice and requirements. *Our official runs have
started*. Thanks to Udder and Peanuts for last weeks home-territory
start-up run that, by all accounts, was a roaring success - my apologies
that a dodgy chicken left-over for lunch forced me to miss it!!!
A big shout out also to Klingon and a few diehards who manage to scratch a
hash-itch with a few interim runs while keeping themselves and the world at
large safe with their strict adherence to the distancing rules.
Thanks everyone for your patience and support throughout what has turned
out to be quite a difficult period. There have been a few Lakeside Covid
casualties - Astro, Cut Loose, Prince and Kokup have all resigned from the
committee - so we are now a small team at the top - and a few important
roles are vacant (until the AGM - or the end of Covid madness - whichever
comes first)!!
Whippet has stepped up to the plate for this weeks run and Cheese cake will
hare next week - we will need a few other volunteers for July please. Our
traditional Christmas in July will be deferred to a time when it's a good
idea for a large group to congregate in an undercover area !!!! which may
be a while.
We will comply with both the spirit and the letter of the law on the Covid
19 social distancing restrictions - it is now up to individual members to
decide when they feel comfortable coming to runs and how they interact. E&B
is still setting up zoom circles for any one that wants to join in.
Looking forward to the day when we are truly back to normal again
