This week’s challenge was offered by HoorayCO to find the quirkiest garden art during your walk or run. NickelB and Lotsa won that with a pic of a huge bent living tool framing a passer-by.
Cheesie had the telly on so we could all watch 7.30 together where Deeper and Prickly were starring in telling of the hell theyre going thru to get to Prickly’s dad’s funeral in NSW. Good to see our mates on the telly but we’re all sorry it was for such sad and annoying circumstances. All the best, Prickly; we all hope you find a way to grieve with your family and get to celebrate the life of your dad.
Swingers and Bollywood joined late - with photos of gardens but not of quirky decor! They will be punished next week. Cheesecake even admitted that she forgot about the quirky garden contest, but that left her as judge. But then again... she didn’t award ME the prize so... that’s good... Lotsafun and NickelB to host next week!!!

Tonight’s meeting included Egg & Bacon Pie NickelB Lotsafun, Cheesecake, HoorayCO and Swingers. We finished just as HoorayCO was about to tell us about her latest fiasco with the holes in her garage roof where a fortune of silks and cottons and all sorts of dress fabrics have been stored for the whole of her children’s lives. Anyway, we wait with baited breath to hear about the damage.
Next week HoorayCO has presented the challenge: all participants to take a photo of the quirkiest garden they see during their walk/run this week; send it to Egg & Bacon Pie and it will be presented next week. You are to tell us about it and make it funny.
The following week we will have another activity. If you don’t think of an activity we will have another hash quiz!
