For those that have been Hashing in Melbourne for years will remember D&E’s Stalwart, Captain Bryce, GM in 1995.
Captain Bryce is famous for introducing the Captain Bryce Canter, to which a many night’s were had.
The Captain is not quite the Hasher he used to be, but Bushtucker our GM in 1997 has convinced the Captain to come out of hibernation for a low key Captain Bryce Canter complete with COVID restrictions.
Sorry for the short notice, but these uncertain times hold us to ransom, but your members that may remember this event are most welcome to join D&E to relive the past.

We delight in the confirmation of a run on 16 June in Brighton with the
silky skills of Wet Pussy sending us around the salubrious suburb.
Mr W. Pussy is haring - scheduled in a park, Brighton, the relaxation of
rules means that, if you are feeling well and travelling less than 25km, we
can congregate in groups of 10 outdoors with masks removed if running or
consuming food, drink or "medicine" But bring a Mask!
Come early and get in "Group A" ,,, the second group "B" are good but not
nearly as good as "A".
Trailmaster is desperate for more runs ... reach deep into the hash
consciousness and come up with a venue ... Hopefully, the run on the 23 of
June will have even less restrictions and we can return to "The Freedom of

GET YOUR NOMINATIONS IN BY 1 JULY 2021 (to allow for printing in the mag)
INCLUDE THE DATE; RUN NUMBER; NAME/S OF HARE/S; LOCATION/VENUE; NAME OF
AWARD; AND WHY; A PHOTO IF POSSIBLE
The last AGM was done in a bit of a rush when Cyclone handed over to me
(E&B) on 20 January this year after her reign of a year and a half with
bloody COVID Lockdown in the middle. We didn't do awards at that AGM. Some
might consider it a shame if the most notorious hash run was not celebrated.
So please feel free to nominate your most notable Lakeside hash run during
the entire period of Cyclone's reign (June 2019 to Jan 2021) and my reign
(Jan to 30 June 2021).
