"WHAT WAS THAT?" - a play at Werribee Mansion
Hi Lakesiders (current, ex and future),
At last! As Social Sec, I thought I'd try to get us all together for an
event with an historical setting at Werribee Mansion on Saturday 19th
November.
It's up to you to book your own tickets, and whether you want to have dinner
beforehand at the Mansion (or somewhere else).
The event is described at the following link -
https://www.visitwerribee.com/events/what-was-night-theatrical-performance
BOOK HERE:
The dates list is at -
https://www.essencetheatre.productions/the-dress-booking-page-2
DATE:
Select the date Saturday 19th November - 8:30pm - 10:00pm - $38-$45/head.
SUMMARY OF THE PERFORMANCE
In short, it's a bit like a ghost tour of the mansion. It's a play set in
the early days of Victoria, when the mansion was owned by the Chirnside
family. (You might've heard of the suburb near Lilydale called Chirnside
Park - same family.) The Chirnsides owned a lot of Victoria; had a lot to
do with people in high places; had a lot to do with the sheep industry.
Anyway what the audience experiences is a tour of the mansion, led by the
butler and the head maid who are taking advantage of showing us around while
the owners are not there.
If you've ever enjoyed a hash event at Swamp Rat's Harewood mansion in
Westernport Bay, then you'll love this one too. There's no need to dress up
though. Just come in modern day dress, suitable for visiting high falluting
dignatories.
(And just reply to this email to let me know if you're going.)
Cheers for now.

Hi Everyone,
Following the recent call to cancel our Oktoberfest Balls Up, our MLH3 Balls

roll please).. Plan B... an Oktoberfest social night at a Bavarian
restaurant in the city!
You're all invited to
Location: 45 S Wharf Promenade, South Wharf VIC 3006

* Saturday 22nd October 2022
* 7.00 pm - 10pm
