Hi Lakesiders,
I'm looking for interest in a weekend away in Nagambie.
Nagambie is accessible by train from Southern Cross, or just over an hour
and half away from the GM's place in St Kilda.
Nagambie has a beautiful lake which is often crowded with rowers - but not
on the weekend of 14-16 Nov. There are some famous wineries in the area -
Mitchelton and Tahbilk - both good riding distance if you bring your bikes.
There's good hashing scrub around as well, and also a ParkRun on Saturday
morning. Nagambie also has a brewery/distillery, a couple of pubs, a high
class Italian restaurant, a few bakery/cafes, and a Discovery camping/cabins
park a couple of kms away on what feels like an island between the lake and
the Goulburn River.
I have tentatively booked 10 rooms at a motel in Nagambie with a 10%
discount if booked by 3 October. It's not cheap but it's lovely: Nagambie
Waterfront Motel. Lakeview Ground floor units, with front verandah facing
the lake - normally $240/night but with a group booking booked by 3 October
it's $216/night.
Of course, other motels are available too, not as lovely and not as costly.
I've prepared a couple of flyers which should explain what we have in mind
for the weekend. We're open to suggestions and happy to invite bike hashers
and Full Mooners too and anyone else who is interested in having a fun
weekend in Nagambie.
Please let me know your interest by replying to this email - or better
still: just complete the rego form, send it back to me, pay the hash bank
a/c and book your accomm. It's a popular place.
Oh - and BTW - if you're going to the ACDC concert - they only play on
Sunday night at 7:30 which gives plenty of time to get ther.

See the flyer.
This is probably fully subscribed by now. Sorry I didn't put it out
earlier. It's a 25 year old tradition now. Try to get on it if you can.
It's lots of fun.
