"How many trails must a man run down before he calls it a day?Yes ’n’ how many years can a Hasher run
Before they find legs give way?
Yes ’n’ how many aches will it take till he knows
It is time to say nay nay?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind.
The answer is blowin' in the wind.”
For this run NickelB is bringing us back to the now fully operational Ale Works. It was generally agreed, the last time we were there, that the Ale Works was an ideal Hash venue and we thought it deserved another visit. The above poem is NickelB’s, a reworking of a Bob Dylan song printed on the back of his t-shirt giveaway for his 80th birthday run. Now two years on, he is still chugging along, still setting runs for us - never ever will say nay nay. The line in our song we sing - ‘He’s a hasher through and through!’ - could have been written just for him!
