So sorry to say we cannot make it.  Its a giant clash with three events that were rescheduled from last years covid lockdowns - Hash winery bike tour, Guy Sebastian concert, and the Scouts Showtime play.  We can only do Showtime as its Tahlia’s debut into show biz (!) and its huge - 8 performances over 10 days.

I’m also sorry that I didnt pick up on the date clashing with the winery weekend.  This has been an annual event for the last 23 years, except lockdown years, between Lakeside and Capital Hashes, and the last 10 years has included Wagga2H3 and BallaratH3.  Last year the event was originally planned for March, then November, and then May.  Likewise with Guy Sebastian and Scouts Showtime - and they all rescheduled for the same weekend in May.  And sorting all that out I’m sorry I overlooked the date of Lakeside’s away weekend.  I’m particularly sorry because as “social sec” I’ve let you down; also because we (hashers)  thrive on weekends away and we need more to catch up on; and also because Lakeside’s role in the winery weekend may be diminished with our lack of participation this year (altho in saying that, I know that the event is fully subscribed at the moment and Lakesiders who signed up last year will be representing LH3 anyway).

Sorry for my long tale of sorry.  I wish we could go to all events.  But not this te.  Good luck for it!  It’ll great!
