Dear Lakeside Hashers

You gotta love the Grandview. An arthritic old pub creaking at the joints but oozing charm and character. Established in 1888, the grand view would have been of Yarra Park Bend, the newly built Fairfield Boathouse, boats and and swimmers in the Yarra River. Enter the pub from Heidelberg Rd, look around   before climbing the stairs. The Manager told me proudly that everything you see is original. Even the dust is 133 years old! Now to the run - off road, on road, off the track, back on track, it won’t be dull, not long and I hope … enjoyable!
