Dear Lakeside Hashers,

 

Our traditional “Christmas in July” Run is back! Traditional Xmas menu at a sit down dinner of turkey, ham, roast veggies, mulled wine, fireplace, xmas carols, firepit (weather permitting) and more.

 

For catering purposes, we ask all Hashers who intend to come to please let us know. Please RSVP to

*Where: 1 Lynn Drive Ferntree Gully

*Closest train station: Ferntree Gully (Belgrave Line) plus a 10min bus ride to Mountain Gate Shopping Village. Buses 693 and 755 will take you there and run regularly based on train arrival times. Bus 755 goes down Mountain Gate Drive, get off at first bus stop after shopping village. From there turn left on Lynn Drive and walk 200m.

If anyone is coming by train, we can drop you off at the station afterwards. Trains depart at 20mins and 52mins past the hour.

This week’s run is mine!  Come and join everyone for the first run of the new year.  Meet the new GM.  And pay your annual hash fee of $50.  What a great start to a new year!!

 

Run 2055 on 20th July - will be set from the same venue as Lakeside’s Balls Up of 2009 – the Richmond Union Bowls Club.  Expect it to be almost snowing so rug up in your warmest gear and prepare for a petite tour de Richmond. 

Dress Code – WARM - Come in your footy colours if you like – as long as they’re tiger colours.  Whatever you do, make sure you’re there and wear your warmest clothes – and your mask!

 

Run 2056 on 27th July - is from le family Moths in outer Ferntree Gully.  It will be a grand affair as Mother Christmas (AKA Tiger Moth) cooks up a storm of Christmas treats for an army of hashers. 

Dress Code – CHRISTMAS in the COLD!

 

Please RSVP both runs as they are self-catered by the hares themselves.
