Dear Lakeside HashersFor this run Quick Lay has invited our neighbouring Hash Western
Suburbs to join us on a combined run from the Racecourse Hotel in Malvern East. Joint runs
were somewhat of a regular occurrence before Covid (remember the Halloween run of October
31st 2018 from the Maori Chief Hotel - GM Astro - what a year that was!) and of course we
meet up at New Moon runs, so when Quick Lay proposed a joint Hash run I immediately
supported the initiative as in yes! its about time! That we might reciprocate and do a
Tuesday run with them is something for the new committee to decide. For now lets just pile
on tram no 3 and enjoy a run and meal with our closest neighbours. The details are:Run

Hare: Quick LayOccasion: joint run with Western Suburbs Hash.
Venue: Racecourse Hotel, 895 Dandenong Road, MaLvern East.Parking: hotel car park.
Time: 7pm for a 7.30 start.
Food: bistro menu - fresh produce and well-crafted seasonal meals. Vegetarian options
available.Cost: $15 - $25Drinks: at the bar.Bring: torches.Getting there:
- by car - Melways map 68 F1- by tram - no 3 stop 60.- by train - to Caulfield Station on
the Frankston Line.
