If you are using an Android device, like I am , Zoom does not support background. Nothing to do with how old the device is.

Also can only view 4 people at a time.

Nock and Lotsa, as MB said, on am older laptop/ipad you meed to make the green screen first. Mine is also 3 years old and I so the green screen first.

To put on a virtual background:

Press the up arrow beside your video icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the Zoom Screen
Select ‘Choose Virtual Background’
In the window that comes up, press +, then upload your file picture (e.g. jpeg file) from your computer.

Bear in mind that this won’t work on some older computers, whereupon you’ll have to physically hold up an actual green screen behind you to make the virtual background effective; otherwise you’ll appear as a ghostly, see-through wraith (with me this doesn’t make any difference).
