Dear Friends and Colleagues,

You are invited to join our La Trobe Archaeology Zoom webinar at 3:00 pm on Thursday, 4 March (Australian Eastern Daylight Time [AEDT]), the opening  presentation in our First Semester program for 2021.

Professor Adam Brumm (University of Queensland) will speak on the topic ‘Pigs, popcorn, and the Pleistocene rock art of Sulawesi’

In recent decades, Australian researchers  have featured prominently in exploring the early archaeological record of island South East Asia. Professor Brumm’s work has now augmented a series of spectacular discoveries by uncovering what may be the world’s earliest figurative painting tradition.

Register in advance for the seminar at the following link by 12 noon, Thursday 4 March (AEDT).
