I agree. Well done Cyclone, and well said.
We plan to resume New Moon on Sat 23 May, with
similar arrangements, running from a park.
Full Moon will resume on Sunday 7 June provided
the number limit is lifted from 10 to 20 by then.

SORRY - THE EMAIL GOT AWAY BEFORE I FINISHED -

A bit of sad news - Astro Boy and Cut Loose have
decided to resign from the committee. They have
both put in a mammoth effort and I am really
sorry that I will see out my GM term out
without their support. Astro has been a whiz at
keeping an eye on the books and Cut Loose has
been an amazing Hash Haberdash - it is a huge
job and I must admit that I was surprised, but
very grateful, when she wanted to take it on again.
Apologies if GM updates have been a bit few and
far between - we have all been in hibernation of sorts I suppose
A big personal thanks to everyone. We will need
to have a committee meeting soon to work out a
few dates - the AGM being the nearest and most
pressing I suppose - and how we are going to
manage to keep the club moving forward while
managing everyone's individual timing for how
they participate. A couple of celebrations also
- Cheesecakes 700th run and Prince's 40 year anniversary among them
We will all get back to a new normal some time -
no one should feel under any pressure - or any
level of criticism EVER. We are a social club
and at the end of the day it is all about
everyone being part of it - everyone is an equally valued member.
Looking forward to seeing -everyone - virtually
or from a respectable 1.5 metre distance - sometime soon

Greeting Lakesiders
I hope you have all made it through the worst of
the restrictions and have managed to hang on to
your sanity and sense of humour - if only by a thread.
A bit of news to catch up on now that we are in
the very early stages of coming out of our
isolation - I know that for a few of us we will
be seeing family, grandchildren and elderly
parents for the first time in months this
weekend ð. (some of us are actually those
elderly parentsð) - others will be pleased to
see light at the end of the tunnel for home schooling.
There have been a few efforts to keep our
members engaged and opportunities for virtual
catch-ups throughout the last few weeks and a few changes to let you know
about
