Currently, the hares are organised by those who turn up the week before.
Volunteers would be welcome.

Good morning all
This is the email I have been hanging out to write.
1. With the relaxing of the Covid rules I think we can safely say
WE'RE BACK and runs can be as close to normal
as they are likely to be for the next few months.
2. We are planning a LAKESIDE END OF THE YEAR
PICNIC on Sunday 13 December - the flyer with all the details
is attached.
I want to thank everyone for their patience and support for LH3 over the
last many months - it has been a difficult and trying year - with lots of
bumps but also many high points. I acknowledge that it is not really over
yet - there is still risk and there will be rules for a while yet - but
hopefully the worst is behind us.
The picnic is a way of celebrating this - thanks to Udder, Gargoyle,
Cheesecake, Klingon and Pythag for their contributions to the planning.
Hopefully many of you can make it. Peanuts and I will get there early and
secure a large area on the grass for us - so we can keep some social
distancing. As always it is totally up to individual hashers and their
own assessment of personal risk on whether and how they attend -
(sanitiser - masks etc).
With the relaxed rules for outdoor exercising and gatherings I am
assuming that our Covid Safe plan for runs can be revised. I doubt there
is a need for any additional registration sheets for DHHS purposes so -
if you sign the book it should be enough - our contact list is up to date
(one of the few successes I have had as GM!!). The hare should probably
note any visitors and get phone numbers please - just to be safe. ( and
ALWAYS ADHERING TO THE CURRENT RULES AND RESTRICTIONS)
A few big thank you's for now - for those who have helped keep the wheels
on over the really difficult period and keep members connected.
1. The E&B for organising the weekly zoom sessions - I doubt
she has missed a week - even with home-schooling and housebound teen and
tween - agers.
2. Cheesecake for keeping the Bayside break-away group in touch and
motivated - with even the occasional walk and opportunities to happen to
'run into' each other
3. Klingon, Pog, TwoPac, and other self-labeled Lock down 'renegade'
hashers - for keeping runs going for those who wanted to join in and
staying within the rules.
4. Udder - for his 'always cheerful and very sage' support.
5. To everyone who has checked in on others over the months in
lockdown
I am aware that we are not totally out of it yet - but I am sure we are
on the way and against all odds it looks like we will all come out of it
friends ...........
Looking forward to seeing as many as possible on the 13th - and any runs
before then
ON ON
