Hi, Melbourne Ladies here again……… We more than understand that hashers might be slow to commit at this stage, however as organisers of this year’s balls up, it would be really nice to know what sort of numbers we could be looking at should DHH Covid restrictions let this fun event go ahead – and seriously we all need something happy to look forward to! If numbers are restricted by COVID DHH rules, it will be first in best dressed based on registration forms submitted! If anyone has any questions, phone numbers are on the attached flyer/reg form. Now…I know what you’re thinking…instead of Giddy Up…the event might suffer from a late scratching! We get it…but remember refunds will be given to anyone who’s paid if this event is cancelled due to COVID restrictions. Please keep the date free, get your registrations forms in, and be ready to jump out of the stalls at the right moment… In the meantime, here’s a cocktail for you to enjoy at your lockdown drinkies… Giddy Up Grapefruit Sour 2 shots Tequila 1 shot pink grapefruit juice 1 shot lime juice ½ shot jalapeno simple syrup (1/2 cup caster sugar, ½ cup water, simmered for 5 minutes with 1 sliced fresh jalapeno, seeds removed) 1 egg white Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake hard to chill and combine ingredients.
