Lakeside is a registered association under an Act of the Victorian Parliament. The Act specifies the office bearers as President, Public Officer, Treasurer and Committee members who are elected by the members. An annual return has to be lodged with Consumer Affairs and an AGM held each year. Cheesecake is the Public Officer. Thus the meeting is the one required under the Act.

I was gonna make that clear but it was too wordy.  So since you ask, it’s just for officialdom…in case Cheesecake has to submit the Agenda as well as the Minutes to the officials, what is required is reports from President, Secretary & Treasurer.  That’s all.  It won’t remain that way – unless there are objectors in the ranks in which case they’ll be sent to the gulag...  No, not really.

To All Lakeside Hashers,

 

The GM of Lakeside Hash House Harriers, Cyclone Tracy, has asked me to convey to all members of this Hash group (and any wannabe members) that there will be an Annual General Meeting, to be held on Wednesday 20th January 2020, coinciding with Cheesecake’s Run # 1981 at Princes Park, Hawthorn Road, Caulfield South.

 

The run will commence at 6.30pm. 

 

The AGM will commence at 7.45pm and conclude at 8pm. 

 

Agenda is attached.

Refreshments will be available for sale at normal hash prices and nibbles will be provided by the Hash after the meeting. 

 

Please BYO drinking vessel, plate and cutlery.  Hash circle for Run#1981 will take place after the AGM.
