Hi Addon (Alice),
Alice3499(a)gmail.com <mailto:Alice3499@gmail.com>
Thank you or doing the Trail Master job this year 2023/24. It's great that
you are doing the job this year.
The Trail Master's job is engaging with our members to set runs, and then
communicate the runs.
Let's talk about the emails and posts of our runs.
The runs/walks are being advertised on four different applications in
2022/23. Maybe you could do the same.
1. The emails to members
2. The LSH3 web site
3. Meetup
4. Facebook
You can follow my formats or do your own thing.
1. The emails to members
I normally send our emails twice a week, once on Thursday (for next week's
run) and again on Tuesday (for this week's run). An example of my format is
as follows.

2. The LSH3 web site
Swingers hosts the web site and there is a logon page via 'WORDPRESS" to
update the web site.
Login through the web address

hash.asn.au%2Fwp-admin%2Fedit.php%3Fpost_type%3Dpage&reauth=1> &reauth=1
Password is "Pythagorarse" and I'll text you the password.
I usually update the site every Thursday. I add yesterday's run to the
"previous runs" list and then update the "coming runs" by removing
yesterday's run. I also update any other details like Getting there by
public transport etc. Links to that pages are shown below.
In the editor, there is a tool box above the table. This toolbox lets you
add and delete rows and columns, bold text, link a web site to text etc.
The link tool is used to link the Google Map reference to the word "Map" in
the text. What I do is to highlight the word "Map" with the cursor, click
on the link symbol , then go to Google Maps, find the address, then click
"share" and then copy link back into Wordpress link field.
Click "Update" on the top right hand side to update what you have entered.
When click "W" top lefthand side to get you back to the home page.
When click "G'day Pythagorarse", top right side, to log out.
Go to the normal web site to make sure everything your updates are correct
and formatted properly.
3. Meetup
Klingon with firstly need to give you access to update Meetup. Only you
have access, login using;
https://www.meetup.com/Lakeside-Hash-House-Harriers-in-Melbourne/
Then you might have to log in. Once logged in, you create a new event by
copying a past event.
Update the title, update the date and update the location. There are other
things you can update if you wanted, but I normally update these three
fields only and then Announce.
4. Facebook
Cheaper at Kroger (Aimee Dostie aimeedostie(a)gmail.com
<mailto:aimeedostie@gmail.com> ) is the owner of the Facebook Page and may
need to give you access to update Facebook.
There are two things I update. First is sending out a post every Monday
morning at 10:30am about the upcoming run. The second is updating the pinned
post with a list of all the runs.
