Dear Lakeside Hashers
The blurb: We’re an independent micro brewery and bar serving small batch craft beer from
tank to tap. Housed in a former mechanics garage, it has 12 beer taps and an al fresco
beer garden serving fresh frothies from tank to tap.
The run: NIckelB - aka the River Whisperer - will weave his magic in, around and over the
mighty Yarra River. Dig out and wear his 80th Birthday run t-shirt. What about the poem on
its back, a reworking of Bob Dylan’s Blowin' in the Wind:
"How many trails must a man run down before he calls it a day?
Yes ’n’ how many years can a Hasher run
Before he calls it a day?
Yes ’n’ how many years can a Hasher run
Before they find legs give way?
Yes ’n’ how many aches will it take till he knows
It is time to say nay nay?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind.
The answer is blowin' in the wind.”
Good job NickelB. Says it all.
