Lets welcome in 2020 with a run from the Royal Hotel in Essendon. This is Western Suburbs territory and they have been invited to the run - or do they need more recovery time from their NYE celebrations?! Its been a while but I can announce we have a virgin hare! 4pack, local resident who has been studying the maps, pounding the pavement, joining the dots and has come up with not one but two drinkstops! Yay! Welcome to the New year Lakeside Hashers!

Last seen as a hare for a Lakeside run was 26/01/2011 (remember the Meaning of Life run?!!), it is my pleasure to announce that … IGT2 is back! This time its an Arabic theme, (think Lawrence of Arabia) and Arabian food. Now as to the run, a glance at Melways page 45 shows a maize of small streets and tiny laneways. Pointy will have fun driving us all mad and tying us up in knots as he weaves an intricate and cunning trail around the four stations - Hawthorn, Glenferrie, Auburn & Camberwell that roll over and under Burwood Rd.
