Dear Lakeside Hashers
From bush to beach, from goat track to bike track, Gargoyle has put a smile on our faces with the location of her run - the beach! In fact 'Brighton Beach Gardens’ -sounds very inviting and a beautiful location for our first Spring beach run. It makes you want to toss your shoes and frolic bare feet in the sand, do cartwheels and fling your hair to the breeze!

Dear Lakeside Hashers
Will it be:
“ Well there’s a big, big sound
From the West of the town
Its the sound of the mighty Giants.
You feel the ground a-shaking
The other teams are quaking
In their boots before the GIANTS!
We’re the Greater Western Sydney GIANTS
We’re the biggest and the best!"
Or will it be:
"Oh, we're from Tiger land,
A fighting fury, we're from Tiger land,
In any weather you will see us with a grin,
Risking head and shin,
If we're behind then never mind,
We'll fight and fight and win.
For we're from Tiger land."

Fellow adventurers:
Update!
For detailed information about the walk go to https://www.ffm.vic.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0019/26344/FS0122-Koondro…
The energetic troopers will walk or run the 14 km Turtle Loop.
Those wanting a more gentle stroll can do the 9 km Eagle Loop.
Both groups will meet up at the Recreation Site for a picnic. There are toilets and a free camp site here.
Old Farts and lazy bones can drive there from Koondrook and bring the Eskies filled with ice cold libations with them.
You may want to download the free More To Explore App from the App Store.
And as if all that isn’t enough, Kokup informs me that it’s the weekend of the Koondrook/Barmah Show. The place to be for those in the market for a new tractor or chain saw.
The excitement keeps building!!!
Not too late to decide to join us for way too much fun.
Codpiece.

Dear Lakeside Hashers
Kokup and Punch have chosen the eclectic Malvernvale Hotel serving
unpretentious meals for this run. (Or should that the other way around?)
Are we in Pointy territory - the birthplace of the pizza & fruitcake combo?
There is a run/walk so fasten your seat belts. With the Monash Freeway
dominating the scene possibilities excite as to trail. Footbridges go over
the freeway and bike paths under it and alongside it and through it! (Yes
really!) Expect to run/walk into some spectacular views of wetlands,
parklands and reserves as Kokup weaves his magic around this concrete
monster.

Hi Lakeside Hashers!
I'm sure you all know about the shenanigans that've ensued with setting up these shiny new mailing lists and making them, you know, actually work? This has frustrated your friendly neighborhood techomancer (myself, Swingers' middle child) even more than it's frustrated you, but if you're seeing this message that means the hours I've spent tearing out my hear were not in vain, and it's behaving!
About damn time.
Those of you who'd like to edit their subscription can create an account at https://mail.lakesidehash.asn.au using the email address this message was sent to. Give the members list a spin (members(a)lakesidehash.asn.au) if you're feeling frisky, and email admin(a)lakesidehash.asn.au with any weird issues you might have.
On-on!
