Dear All.
You are NOT invited to a zoom meeting tomorrow night! YAY!
With the order from the Premier about the lowering of the masks, it gives me
great pleasure to announce I will no longer be holding Zoom meetings in lieu
of running hash runs (i.e. until we are ordered into lockdown number 3)
because I'll be hashing.
Hope to see you all at Batman Park this Wednesday - LH3#1972, LL3#15 -
whatever you want it named.

L3 Hash Hash House Harriers. All Hashers are welcome but keep in mind this is organised by the rabble of L3H3, 18:30 start means 18:30 start and we do not have any organised meal as the centre piece of the evening, sort yourself out!
Good morning all
This is the email I have been hanging out to write.
1. With the relaxing of the Covid rules I think we can safely say *WE'RE
BACK* and runs can be as close to normal as they are likely to be for the
next few months.
2. We are planning a *LAKESIDE END OF THE YEAR PICNIC* on Sunday 13
December - the flyer with all the details is attached.
I want to thank everyone for their patience and support for LH3 over the
last many months - it has been a difficult and trying year - with lots of
bumps but also many high points. I acknowledge that it is not really over
yet - there is still risk and there will be rules for a while yet - but
hopefully the worst is behind us.
The picnic is a way of celebrating this - thanks to Udder, Gargoyle,
Cheesecake, Klingon and Pythag for their contributions to the planning.
Hopefully many of you can make it. Peanuts and I will get there early and
secure a large area on the grass for us - so we can keep some social
distancing. As always it is totally up to individual hashers and their own
assessment of personal risk on whether and how they attend - (sanitiser -
masks etc).
With the relaxed rules for outdoor exercising and gatherings I am assuming
that our Covid Safe plan for runs can be revised. I doubt there is a need
for any additional registration sheets for DHHS purposes so - if you sign
the book it should be enough - our contact list is up to date (one of the
few successes I have had as GM!!). The hare should probably note any
visitors and get phone numbers please - just to be safe. ( and ALWAYS
ADHERING TO THE CURRENT RULES AND RESTRICTIONS)
A few big thank you's for now - for those who have helped keep the wheels
on over the really difficult period and keep members connected.
1. The E&B for organising the weekly zoom sessions - I doubt she has
missed a week - even with home-schooling and housebound teen and tween -
agers.
2. Cheesecake for keeping the Bayside break-away group in touch and
motivated - with even the occasional walk and opportunities to happen to
'run into' each other
3. Klingon, Pog, TwoPac, and other self-labeled Lock down 'renegade'
hashers - for keeping runs going for those who wanted to join in and
staying within the rules.
4. Udder - for his 'always cheerful and very sage' support.
5. To everyone who has checked in on others over the months in lockdown
I am aware that we are not totally out of it yet - but I am sure we are on
the way and against all odds it looks like we will all come out of it
friends ...........
Looking forward to seeing as many as possible on the 13th - and any runs
before then

For those who read the previous notice carefully, you would have
found my deliberate mistakes.
The date is Sunday 13th January, not the 12th January, as it
appeared in two places in the previous notice.
Also note that there are no costs, fees or hidden charges for the
picnic.

EnB is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting tonight at 8pm.
Topic: Lakeside Hash - Stuff to Discuss
A. What hashing have you done since March 18th 2020 (incl bike hash and interstate hash runs, and The Liberation Lockdown H3);
B. Tell us all the fun you had at these events;
C. Tell us how much you want to resume normal, or “COVID-Normal” hash running;
D. Tell us what you think resumption of Lakeside hash should look like; or maybe you say Lakeside hash has already resumed, in which case, tell us why you’re not there.
(N.B. I would love to be at Shiny Dick’s run tonight but I have an injury as well as a Year 10 daughter doing her first Year 11 exam tomorrow and she needs support. Cooch Will be at the run tho.)
So... there’s a committee meeting on Saturday and all your useful comments will be fed to the committee for their consideration.
If everyone decides to attend Shiny’s run instead of my zoom, that would be great as it would indicate that Lakeside is already resumed! Bit for those who are not able or ready to attend in person, I hope to see you on screen at 8pm.

Subject: National HHH Red Dress Run 2020 to help the Salvos
To: <Bushbasher(a)live.com.au>
HHHello Hashers,
Every year the Combined Hash Clubs of Brisbane put on a Red Dress Run to
support the Salvos.
In these unprecedented COVID times something had to be done to help the
Salvos help those affected by COVID.
We are asking if all hash clubs can do a RDR on their normal run night in
the first week in December to assist this great cause.
We don’t care who you are, what your are or where you are but please throw
in $10 per person to help those in trouble.
The Salvos have set up a website to coordinate the collections.
Let’s show Australia that Hashers care.
