The RSL will provide the meal e.g. steaks $20, D & E will spin a yarn or two, throw in a blokey joke or three and generally make every effort to entertain us. You won’t be disappointed!

Dear Lakeside Hashers
A farewell run/walk that ticks all the boxes? How about this for starters: St Vincent Gardens, maybe Gasworks Arts Park, a hop and a skip through Lagoon Reserve before letting off steam with a dash along the breezy Beaconsfield Pde back to the pub? Or what about a solongitsbeengoodtoknowyou to the hares favourite cafes and restaurants, wine bars and beer gardens? Now that would be a farewell run/walk that ticks all the boxes - and probably last 3 hours! Oh and a final 'last drinks' stop - at Lit. Finlay St- of course!

For this run we go a couple of station stops down the line from last weeks run to the Rotunda at Sandringham Beach. The hare HoorayCO is a local and knows the area well. She is very excited at the prospect of taking us on a guided tour of ‘Sandy’ featuring such must-sees as as Picnic Point, The Amphitheatre, Boat Harbour, the World War 1 Submarine Wreck and a visit to the Pier. All the while the sun is a glowing orange, slowing setting over Port Philip Bay - what a photo op!

Dear Lakeside Hashers
From bush to beach, from goat track to bike track, Gargoyle has put a smile on our faces with the location of her run - the beach! In fact 'Brighton Beach Gardens’ -sounds very inviting and a beautiful location for our first Spring beach run. It makes you want to toss your shoes and frolic bare feet in the sand, do cartwheels and fling your hair to the breeze!
