Dear Lakeside Hashers
The title for this run refers to the last time we were there ((May 5th) when it was assumed that the meeting place was the Tennis Centre. Its the picnic area, BBQs and shelter nearby. The hare also wishes to remind you to expect a sea breeze as we are close to the ocean. The shelter is not enclosed so dress warmly for the circle. Expect an invigorating beach run!

Always a pleasure to ride the 96 tram to the front yard of no 13 Mitford St for a Hash do. No one knows St Kilda like Klingon. Be prepared for a grand tour of all the landmarks: Lunar Park, the recently restored Palais Theatre, the wind surfers along Marine Pde, Catani Gardens, Akland Street mall, the Itty Bitty Cafe (I was there last Saturday night - food, everything 10 out of 10!), the beautiful Botanical Gardens, and, to really set our pulses racing, our beloved Albert Park Lake! Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! oi! oi! oi!

will meet the 6.14pm train and provide a taxi service to Kalmia St. Its going to be a fun night!

If you were not at my run from Gumbri Park last week you may not know the exciting news that was announced: Deeper and Prickly bush are engaged to be married! What a moment it was for all of us to have more genuinely good news to clap and cheer about. The talk of ‘Hash wedding’ was on everybody’s lips and no doubt this speculation will continue at the GMs run this week from yet another new venue - Allnutt Park in McKinnon. See you all there!

While Gumbri Park has a BBQ area, seating and shelter, this area is not enclosed. Bring warm clothing for the circle as, on all my visits, a cold wind seeming to be blowing across the park. The shelter offers no protection. I have contacted the council and the toilets, usually locked at night, will remain open whilst we are in residence.
