Dear Lakeside Hashers
A welcome back to all those who attended last week - 27 of us! at our favourite venue in Middle Park. With the virus behind us we were able to enjoy a run to our beloved lake before getting down to some longed for socialising. For this weeks run we go to another familiar venue - the BBQs at Elsternwick Park. Wet Pussy’s last run was from a reserve in Brighton so he knows the area well. Elwood Beach is tantalizingly close to the park so maybe we we will get to see the wind surfers in action? Pointy will be there with the Hash eskies and for those who wish to partake, pizza is on offer.

party this year. No She won't. She is fine with the Committee's decision.
The GM is always right.
She was also upset - She was NOT upset; she just queried the fact that no
Christmas anything was mentioned in the hare list and people might be
wondering what was happening that I didn't label December 22nd as the
'Santa Run'. My reason: I usually wait until Ive got the hare first then
spring that surprise! Should we on Wed clear the air as to our decision - no

In these strange times we have to make relatively firm bookings at hospitality venues. Proof of vaccination will be required. For this run the menu choices will be a beef, mushroom, or calamari burgers with chips at under $20. If you are attending, text the hare 00435209860 before Tuesday 5pm 26/10/21. For example a YESYESYES text from (your name) will indicate you are attending and will be buying drinks and ordering a meal.

We still have a few limitations though - Only 15 people allowed to get
together in public spaces. If more than 15 turn up we will have to split
into separate groups.
For the circle, drinks and food at Cellarbrations afterwards it seems that
venues will be required to check for vaccination status - Outdoors up
to 50 *fully
vaccinated* people and indoors up to 20 *fully vaccinated. *
So, if you want to join the convivial on after, bring proof of vaccinations
